What are the benefits of the NevaClad® laminate process versus other renovation alternatives?

  • Cost-Effective: On average, the NevaClad laminate surfacing/renewal process is 1/3 of the cost of replacement millwork.

  • Less Labor-Intensive: The NevaClad laminate process is a much less labor-intensive feasible option when performed by our experienced, manufacturer-trained installers. NevaClad’s flexibility permits installations in hard-to-reach places and around built-in obstacles.

  • Durable:  Traditional re-lamination methods (with HPL) are usually fraught with potential issues down the road. For instance, the added weight and stress from the second laminate layer leads to more torque on the (original) laminate and frequently causes de-lamination and durability issues. For this reason, many cabinet shops will not warranty re-lamination projects.

Unlike HPL, NevaClad is a lightweight (but durable) overlay that will not compromise the adhesive integrity of the substrate to which it’s applied. In fact, there are many instances where NevaClad will enhance the bond of the original HPL due to its flexibility and ability to be wrapped around inside and outside corners. When installed by our experienced, manufacturer-trained installers, the durability and longevity of NevaClad laminate are excellent and will last many years. In addition, NevaClad has excellent chemical, stain, and abrasion resistance.

  • Aesthetic:  The finish quality of NevaClad rivals real veneers and other natural substrates and easily surpasses that of HPL. Our installations are impeccable and easily create the illusion that the millwork has been replaced –both for customers and staff. NevaClad is meant to be a permanent application and will last many years when properly maintained. Over 1,500 NevaClad patterns, including a wide selection of wood grain, stone, metallic, sand, leather, and solid-color finishes, are available.

  • Non-Disruptive:  The NevaClad installation process is very non-disruptive. We can often perform installations during normal business hours without disrupting customers or staff.

  • Repairable:  Unlike high-pressure laminate, NevaClad can easily be repaired if damaged.  When HPL chips or breaks, the client is normally forced to live with the damage until the next major renovation.

  • Sustainable: NevaClad is a practical solution for revitalizing outdated fixtures with remaining functional life (and value) in lieu of their unnecessary and premature disposal (usually in a landfill) and the subsequent necessity for creating replacement fixtures.  In short, it is a much better alternative for our environment.

  • Installation Capabilities: Our installation technicians are highly knowledgeable and experienced. They have a full range of install capabilities that go beyond the NevaClad application process and include various carpentry and woodworking skills. These capabilities feature prominently in surface preparation, which is one of the more critical aspects of a project’s overall success and longevity.

  • Superior Customer Service: We expect our customers to be completely satisfied with their NevaClad installations and to continue utilizing us for their renovation needs. As such, we warranty all our work and stand behind every single installation that we perform. We utilize regional-based contractors to help keep costs lower for the customer, decrease lead times, and improve customer responsiveness.
